1. Realize that God loves you. 

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) 

We love him, because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

2. Realize that you are a sinner. 

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. 

(Romans 3:23)

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 

(Romans 3:10)

3. Realize there is a price that must be paid for your sin. 
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:20)

4. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins. 

But God commendeth his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6)

5. Believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)

6. Pray to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Romans 10:13)
